Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses methods that allow your use of the website to be analysed, e.g. through the use of so-called cookies, which are text files that are saved on your computer. In general, the information collected about your use of this website is transferred to and stored on one of Google’s servers in the United States. By activating the IP-anonymization feature on this website, your IP address is shortened before it is transferred between EU member states or other states that are party to the European Economic Area Agreement. Only in exceptional cases will your complete IP address be transferred to one of Google’s servers in the United States and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google.

You can prevent the acquisition of the data generated by cookies and based on your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin provided http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This means that IP addresses are shortened for further processing, which excludes the possibility of personal references. If the data collected about you is related to a person, this is excluded immediately and the personal data is deleted immediately.

We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website and to improve it regularly. The statistics obtained allow us to improve our services and make them more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework, the legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is article 6, paragraph 1, page 1 lit. f GDPR.

Google Fonts

This website uses external fonts from Google Fonts. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer. The user's browser transmits various information for the uniform presentation of the website. These include various browser and device data as well as the IP address of the user himself.

Processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to article 6, paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR for search engine optimisation, improvement of loading times, reduction of administrative effort and uniform presentation across all devices.

Further information about Google Fonts can be found at: https://fonts.google.com/about.

Google APIs
A web service of the company Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, 4 Dublin, Ireland (hereinafter: Google APIS) is downloaded from our website. We use this information to ensure the full functionality of our website. In this context, your browser may transfer personal information to Google APIS.

The legal basis for data processing is article 6, paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the faultless functioning of the website.

The data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of its collection has been fulfilled. Further information on the handling of the transferred data can be found in the data protection declaration of Google APIS: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can prevent the collection and processing of your data by Google APIS by deactivating the execution of script code in your browser or by installing a script blocker in your browser.

Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter: reCAPTCHA) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to verify whether the data entered on our websites (e.g. on a contact form) are being entered by a human or by an automated program.

To that end reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor accesses the website. For its analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates a range of information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor stays on the website or mouse movements performed by the user). The data recorded in the analysis are forwarded to Google. The reCAPTCHA analyses all run in the background. Website visitors are not told that an analysis is taking place.

Data processing is based on article 6, paragraph 1, f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web presence from illegitimate automated spying and from spam. Further information on Google reCAPTCHA can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de and https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=de.

Social Media Plug-ins
We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, Twitter, Xing, LinkedIn, Youtube.

You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by its initial letter or logo in the colored box. We offer you the possibility to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via a button. Only when clicking the button and thereby activating it, the plug-in receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding website. In addition, the data mentioned under “Data collection when visiting this website” will be transmitted. In the case of Facebook and Xing, the IP address is made anonymous immediately after collection, according to information provided by the respective providers in Germany. By activating the plug-in, personal data is transferred from you to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (for US providers in the USA). Since the plug-in provider collects data mainly via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser's security settings before clicking on the grayed-out box.

We have no influence on the data collected and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing, the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider.

The plug-in provider stores your data as user profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation takes place in particular (also for not logged in users) for the representation of demand-oriented advertisement and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right of objection to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. The plug-ins enable you to interact with social networks and other users so that we can improve our services and make them more interesting for you as a user.

The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is article 6, paragraph1, page 1 lit. f GDPR.

The data is passed on regardless of whether you have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in there. If you are logged in with the plug-in provider, your data collected by us will be directly assigned to your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you click the activated button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider also stores this information in your user account and shares it publicly with your contacts. We recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, especially before activating the button, as this allows you to avoid being assigned to your profile by the plug-in provider.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider can be found in the data protection declarations of these providers below. Online marketing
Google AdWords & Conversions

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").

We use the offer of Google AdWords to draw attention to our offerings by placing ads on external websites and to determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. By doing so, we pursue the interest of displaying advertisements that are of interest for you, in order to make our website more attractive and to achieve fair calculation of advertising cost.

As part of Google AdWords, we use so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser stores on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification of the user. Should the user visit certain pages of the website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the website can tell that the user clicked on the ad and proceeded to that page.

Each Google AdWords advertiser has a different cookie. Thus, cookies cannot be tracked using the website of an AdWords advertiser. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for the AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, advertisers do not obtain any information that can be used to personally identify users.

Due to the marketing tools being used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Google servers. We have no influence on the scope and subsequent use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool, and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of AdWords, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked one of our advertisements. If you are registered with a Google service, Google is able to assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or are not logged in, the provider may obtain and store your IP address.

You can prevent participation in this tracking procedure in various ways:
  • a) by configuring the settings of your browser software accordingly; in particular, by suppressing third-party cookies so that you do not receive any advertisements from third-party providers;
  • b) by deactivating conversion tracking cookies in your browser settings, so that cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com” are blocked (www.google.de/settings/ads); please note: these settings will be deleted if you delete your cookies;
  • c) by deactivating the interest-based advertisements of the providers that are part of the “About Ads” self-regulation campaign via the link www.aboutads.info/choices; please note: these settings will be deleted if you delete your cookies;
  • d) by permanently disabling ads in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browser using this link: www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Please note that you may not be able to take full advantage of all functions of this offering.
The legal basis for processing your data is article 6, paragraph 1, page 1 lit. f GDPR. Further information on Google’s data privacy can be found at: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy and https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html. Alternatively, you can visit the website of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) at www.networkadvertising.org. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

DoubleClick by Google
This website also uses DoubleClick, an online marketing tool from Google. DoubleClick uses cookies to display advertisements relevant to users, to improve reports on campaign performance, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ad multiple times. Google uses a cookie ID to determine in which browser advertisements are displayed and can thereby prevent them from being presented multiple times. In addition, DoubleClick may use cookie IDs to record conversions related to advertisement requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later uses the same browser to visit the advertiser's website and makes a purchase. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal information.

Due to the marketing tools being used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Google servers. We have no influence on the scope and subsequent use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool, and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked one of our advertisements. If you are registered with a Google service, Google is able to assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or are not logged in, the provider may obtain and store your IP address.

You can prevent participation in this tracking procedure in various ways:
  • a) by configuring the settings of your browser software accordingly; in particular, by suppressing third-party cookies so that you do not receive any advertisements from third-party providers;
  • b) by deactivating conversion tracking cookies in your browser settings, so that cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com” are blocked (www.google.de/settings/ads); please note: these settings will be deleted if you delete your cookies;
  • c) by deactivating the interest-based advertisements of the providers that are part of the “About Ads” self-regulation campaign via the link www.aboutads.info/choices; please note: these settings will be deleted if you delete your cookies;
  • d) by permanently disabling ads in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browser using this link: www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Please note that you may not be able to take full advantage of all functions of this offering.

Newsletter data
If you wish to receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive this newsletter. No additional data is collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent, based on article 6, paragraph 1, page 1 lit. f GDPR. After unsubscribing from the newsletter, your e-mail address may be stored in a blacklist by us or the newsletter service provider to prevent future mailings. The data in the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both our interests in complying with legal requirements for the dispatch of newsletters (legitimate interest in the sense of article 6, paragraph 1, page 1 lit. f GDPR). The storage of your data in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
